What is it with hotel rooms and their lack of accessible power outlets? Why is it that, when you want to charge your phone at night, you literally have to move the bed two inches and un-plug either the lamp or the alarm clock to make room for your charger?
If you’ve experienced similar troubles finding an available plug for your phone on previous travels, here are two ways to charge a cell phone in your hotel on future trips…
One solution is to bring along a small power strip that you can use to turn one outlet into six. This is great when you’re traveling with friends who also need to charge things. (But you still have to move the bed.)
The second, much easier, solution is hiding right there in your hotel TV.
Simply take the USB-end of your phone charger… and plug it into a USB port on the TV. You’ll be charging in no time.
