Bonnie, here, on the last day of our Thankful series, where we’re sharing the things that we’re thankful to have in our lives.
Today, I’m thankful for Lightroom. Have a look at the before and after of my sunrise shot from the other day, and you’ll see why:
Before processing in Lightroom:
After processing in Lightroom:
In some situations, you can’t take a photo that looks like what you see with your eye. This is because your camera only captures a fraction of the light variations that your eyes perceive.
Lightroom to the rescue!
Here’s another one that I shared with you the other day:
Before processing in Lightroom:
After processing in Lightroom:
Simple processing skills are so important to get your photos ready for sale! If you’re not processing your photos at all, you’re missing out on all kinds of opportunities to make your photos look professional.
Lightroom takes a few days to learn, but once you get it, it’s super-fast and fun. Much like many other parts of taking and selling photos… from printing your photos right to pricing them for sale to choosing the right shots to upload to a stock agency.
All of this stuff takes a few days to get down. But with small steps forward each day, you can be up-and-running selling your photos before the end of the year.
Share a few things you’re thankful for here on Facebook. It’ll make everyone happier.
