Host, Jody Maberry and Director, Lori Allen talk about her recent trip to Kenya.
Kenya is usually the first country people go to when they go on an African safari. Lori did it backwards.
“I visited South Africa, Tanzania, Botswana and Namibia before making it to Kenya,” says Lori.
Lori thought it would be more of the same things she had already experienced. But she was wrong.
“I didn’t think I would see anything different in Kenya than I hadn’t already seen in Tanzania. But you drive a mere two or three hours and it feels like you’re in a different world.”
“There’s something about Africa that calls you back. I’ve been eight or nine times now and every trip blows me away.”
