Scroll down for details. — Lori Lori Allen Director, Great Escape Publishing ******************* July 29, 2009 The Right Way to Travel, Weekly Photo Tip ******************* WHO’S YOUR BABY? By Shelly Perry in Portland, OR Lori’s expecting her first child… so in honor of this special time, this month’s Photo Challenge Theme is: Who’s Your Baby? How does your baby make you laugh or smile? Capture it with your camera and send it in to the Photo Challenge for a chance to win. The best photos will have: ** One clear subject ** No clutter or distracting objects ** Strong composition — taking into account the Rule of Thirds ** Focus on the main subject ** Proper exposure While we’re really hoping to see some cute photos of infants this month, it’s okay to loosely interpret the word “baby.” Maybe your babies are bigger — or even all grown up — but they’re still your babies: Or maybe your puppy is your baby: Whoever your baby is, get out your camera and snap a shot of him or her for the Photo Challenge. And don’t be afraid to get creative. Try different camera angles and subjects… like this shot of tiny baby feet: To enter, send us your ONE best theme-appropriate photo. Multiple entries from the same photographer will be deleted before judging. Submissions for August’s Photo Challenge are due by 8 a.m. EST on Monday, August 24, 2009. You can submit your photos by clicking on the “This Month’s Theme – Enter to Win!” link on the right side bar, and find details about the contest guidelines.
