This week, I’m sharing some of my favorite ways to make your photos look amazing—in a matter of seconds—using Lightroom.

If you missed yesterday’s quick trick for getting rid of haze in your photos, you can catch up here.

Today, let’s talk about drama.

Taking a photo that captures the moment is great. But everyone can do it. We do it all the time with our phones. When you can add “drama” to your photo—even subtly—you’ll set yourself apart.

Lightroom’s “Clarity” slider gives your photo a secret something that’s hard to identify. It’s almost like adding that pinch of sea salt to your cookies. They’re so much better with it!

To add that “pinch of drama” with the Clarity slider, all you have to do is drag it to the right.

When you do this, it enhances the contrast at the edges of objects. Pretty magical, and it only takes about a second.

Really, making a big difference in the look and feel of your photos using Lightroom is very easy.

Now, it’s your turn to have a go…

Play around with the Clarity slider and see what a difference it can make to your photos… and your photo sales.
