“Some people want it to happen, some wish it would happen, others make it happen.” – Michael Jordan
Host, Jody Maberry and Director, Lori Allen talk about her upcoming travel to Tanzania, the marketing purpose behind the trip and how you too can arrange trips to the places you most want to explore in the world.
Lori shares her personal African proverb…
“There are those who return to Tanzania and those who have never been.”
She’s been several times with photography expeditions, but this time she’ll be returning to Tanzania to film marketing videos for our programs.
“We offer a course on how to create travel videos. The course illustrates how easy it is and how little equipment is needed to produce quality videos.”
Video is big in the travel world and also in the marketing world.
“We’ve noticed our video promotions outperform text advertising with still images at a rate of about 2 to 1 and sometimes more.”
So, she’s off to Tanzania to film some promotional videos.
One of those videos will focus on a program we have had around for a few years that’s coming back into the limelight—Leading Tours for Fun and Profit.
“We’re bringing back the course on how to create travel tours,” explains Lori. “People are looking for interesting ways to see the world. They’re tired of bus tours and ordinary tourist travel.”
Tours can be created around anything you’re interested in: cooking, photography, television shows…whatever theme you choose.
“We have one member who leads tours to Christmas Markets in Prague, Budapest, and Vienna.”
Lori shares some exciting news about tours she will be organizing for kids to visit Tanzania and interact with local children.
Listen in to learn more about all the options out there for creating unique themed tours—and making a profit along the way.
And if you prefer to see the world from behind your camera, Lori shares insight into how to pre-plan videos before your trip: videos you sell as marketing campaigns for tourism boards, hotels and more.
You’ll find an introduction to the tour program at dev.greatescapepublishing.com/start/tours and when the video from Africa is ready, a link will be added for you to see.
